The early view on the trek is of the gentle river traipsing on the rocky Vindhyas. Many religious and monastic retreats dot the bank across. On the path, stone billboards with the teachings of The Gita accompany the devotees. Soon enough, the flat territory turns into a climb. Half horse-shoe shaped, the mouth opens to one main and several small falls. The force of the waterfall sprays mist all around the place. A faint rainbow mesmerises all who are glued by the view. Over the eons, the fierce Narmada has created rock edifices of magnificent beauty within these ravines. In the monsoons, when these waters rise up, they erode the soft stone.
